Reader's Service

This section deals directly with the readers visiting the Library and guides them in using the research tools available.

Catalogues

As the Library is a closed access Library, the Readers' Services Unit provides retrieval service of the material requested. There are seven microfilm readers in the Reading Room where readers may view material that has already been microfilmed.

Regulations

Reproduction of manuscripts and newspapers may only be done from microfilms. Available on microfilm are the newspaper collection, Government Gazettes, the manuscripts belonging to the Archives of the Order of St. John and most of the Università documents. Where microfilms are not available, manuscripts and rare books are scanned.
